With more than two decades of experience in special education and educational administration, Yvonne Spencer has dedicated her career to ensuring that every student — regardless of how they learn — has the opportunity to succeed. Her firsthand experience working with students with learning difficulties across the Caribbean revealed a profound gap in understanding and support for dyslexic learners, and it was that reality that moved her to co-found the Caribbean Dyslexia Centre. Yvonne brings to the organization not only her professional expertise, but a deep and personal commitment to changing the way the region sees, supports, and celebrates different minds.
