LET'S START

Transforming Education Through Understanding Different Minds.

The Caribbean Dyslexia Centre exists to change the way dyslexia is understood, supported, and empowered across the region.

For too long, dyslexic students have been defined by what they struggle with reading, spelling, or standardized testing while their strengths have been overlooked. In many classrooms, the system is not built for minds that think differently, and as a result, far too many students grow up believing that something is wrong with them. Dyslexia is not a limitation. It is a different way of processing information a difference rooted in the brain.

Dyslexic individuals often demonstrate powerful abilities in creative thinking, problem solving, and communication. These are not secondary traits; they are essential skills for the modern world.

At the Caribbean Dyslexia Centre, we combine the neuroscience of dyslexia with proven special education strategies and a deep appreciation for individual learning styles. Our approach is designed not only to support challenges, but to identify and develop each student’s unique strengths.

We work with students, parents, and educators to build understanding, confidence, and capability. Because when students begin to see how their minds work and what they are capable of everything changes.

As the world evolves through rapid technological advancement and new ways of thinking, the need for creative, unconventional problem solvers has never been greater. The future belongs to those who can think differently.

- Our role is to help dyslexic students realize that they already do.
